Finger Lakes Trivia Post for Tuesday August 2, 2016

Play DJ trivia tonight at Keuka in Penn Yan, Auburn Ale House, Halfway Haus in Phelps and Sal’s in Montour Falls – all games start at 7:30 pm. You can also play at Beef and Brew in Geneva at 7:15 pm and Cortland Applebees at 8:30 pm!

One of my favorite lines from The Princess Bride is “Do you want me to send you back to where you were – unemployed in Greenland?” It really begs the question about what employment there is in Greenland. Certainly there wasn’t enough going on there for Marco Polo to visit. Maybe Marco wasn’t a fan of sno…w. It’s a good thing he never visited Minnesota; they get enough snow there to collapse buildings. While Marco sailed to far away lands, most of us don’t usually get that far. Tonight we’ll settle for the nautical equivalent of “around the block”.
