Celebrate the last Wednesday of Summer with DJ Trivia starting at 6:30 Arthur G. Depew Memorial VFW Post 6200, 7:00 at Ciccino’s and Wayside Irish Pub in Elbridge at 7:30 and the Plantation in Ithaca at 8:00 

If there is any joy in being sick at home, it is the guilty pleasure of laying on the couch and watching The Price Is Right. Now that Drew Carey is hosting, the choice of my favorite host of all time has gotten harder. I spent the afternoon trying to make myself feel less guilty about eating some of the Halloween candy Mrs. Clue Writer had already bought by watching Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory later in the day, but the cold meds kicked in and I didn’t get to finish the movie. I didn’t really sleep all that well though because I can’t close the cover on the piano keys and the darn cat likes to walk across them whenever he goes into the den. It’s one of many reasons that cat and I don’t get along. For 20 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare), what is/was the most annoying behavior a pet of yours does/did that just go on your last nerve?
