After watching A Very Brady Renovation on HGTV, I used it to introduce the younger resident of my house to one of the quintessential TV shows of the early 70s. Needless to say, I enjoyed annoying everyone with trivia about the show as they were trying to watch episodes. It kind of amazes me that they’ve done an updated version of The Karate Kid (now as a TV show), but nobody has bothered to either reboot The Brady Bunch or do a new show set in current time. I mean, after all, if somebody is willing to make seven Police Academy movies, surely this shining piece of Americana deserve a polish and a new audience. There are purist who completely disagree with me, and that’s okay because I think there are exceptions to this also. For 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare), bring a DVD or VHS of a movie or TV show that you think was so good in its’ original form, that anyone who tries to remake it should be tied with a crime.
