Baseball season is really starting to heat up. And while I may be doing well with my fantasy team, I know that there are some fans of real life teams that know that once again, their team isn’t going to get anywhere near a World Series game. At least they know something. I’ve seen a couple of reporters embarrass themselves while reporting on the volcano in Hawaii, by not knowing the proper terminology of the things they were trying to describe. I realize that everyone can’t know everything. It is unreasonable to expect you to convert miles to inches in your head or other not practical stuff like that, but if they’re going to try to pass themselves off as information givers, I’d hope they would at least have the right information. I’m betting those are the folks that have a whole bunch of participation trophies at home. I have every confidence that you guys are winners! So bring in a trophy, plaque, or award you’ve received for actually achieving something and not just showing up and 30 points will be yours at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare).
