Distances can be a funny thing. They are all relative depending on their context. In baseball, for example, the space between the mound and home plate is sacrosanct. But for cities, no matter how close they are toeach other, to the residents, they may seem worlds away. I know in my home county there’s a road that divides the county and whether you live above it or below it, people always make it seem like they traveled to the other side of the world when they have to cross that line. It’s all a matter of perspective really. After all, the guy who came up with the horrible idea of Chuck E. Cheese also came up with a great advancement in video games. Since we started this with distance, we should probably try to end it with that as well. What is the one one road in your county that in your mind is just “too far” to drive past to get anywhere?
