I saw where U2 is going out on tour this summer. They are about the only big name band I haven’t seen live. After looking into ticket prices, Larry, Adam, Bono, and The Edge will have to do without me for another year. It’s the same thing for me with the NFL. I looked at prices for tickets for every team and I am now even more motivated to stay at home and watch it on TV instead. My kids say I’m getting cheap, but shelling out half of a car payment for one concert ticket just doesn’t seem reasonable to me. I’d rather sit at home and watch reruns of American Idol than spend that kind of money for maybe two hours of music. I am hoping that I’m not the only one who thinks this way. Then again, I could just be cheap. Either way, you’ll pick up 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare) when you bring in the stub or proof of purchase from the last concert you attended.
