Took a road trip yesterday to do a little quality control check at a DJ Trivia location. To me there’s something great about rolling down the road with the windows down and some of Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon blaring from the stereo. The office staffer who was with me brought her A Star Is Born soundtrack CD with her. I tried to be polite about it, but she didn’t even know there were three other versions of that movie (with the same name!) before last year’s release. But then she got me back when she bet me I couldn’t name any of the previous Prime Ministers of India. While Lada Gaga can sing, that album is not what I’d call road trip music. For your bonus points tonight, bring in the one studio cassette or CD that you have to have with you to play on a long car trip.
