College football is almost at its’ end this year. There’s lots of championship games and lots of trash talking among fans. My friend in Georgia told me fans there are questioning how Louisiana even became a state, much less produce a university. As a fan of one of the more consistently losing teams in pro sports, I find it harder to get that excited about games anymore. Even Barry Sanders became so jaded from losing he retired in his prime from the Detroit Lions. For college football fans next Saturday is one of their favorite times of the year. When was the last time you got really excited for a college or professional sports game? Who were the teams and why were you excited to see it?
