My oldest has decided that she wants to take a year off between high school and college and join the Peace Corps.  She tried to sell it to me by saying that she had seen too many insurance commercials and she wanted to be like a good neighbor.  I countered that math has never been her strong suit and that she’d probably end up someplace that uses the metric system, forcing her to figure out how to convert gallons, pounds, and yards.  In the end I told her that as long as it doesn’t cost me any money and Delta flies there, I’m all for it.  Since most people aren’t really practiced at using the metric system, we’ll start slowly tonight by bringing a yardstick that has both Imperial (inches and feet) and Metric (centimeters and meters) on it for 30 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare).
