I have to admit that after all of this time, I still miss Jon Stewart hosting The Daily Show. I didn’t agree with everything he said, but out of all of the people who have hosted the show, he is far and away my favorite. One of my favorite firsts is the first movie in the Godfather trilogy. I liked it so much I even read the book. I understand why they had to leave out some of the details about the family in the movie, but I still enjoyed both of them. While I may think of the Mob when somebody talks about New York, most of the rest of the country thinks of the New York Yankees. Love them or hate them, it’s hard to get around the fact they have won more World Series than any other team in history. That’s especially hard for Jon Stewart, who is a die hard Mets fan. While he may not be your choice for beloved entertainer, surely there is somebody living who no longer holds the same role or plays the same character that made you appreciate them in the first place. Who is that person for you and what was the show they were apart of that you enjoyed so much?
