I know we haven’t gotten through Halloween yet, but Mrs. Clue Writer is already making plans for Thanksgiving. I don’t understand how hard it can be to plan a meal. If the people in the original American colonies could pull it off, I’m fairly certain we can do it without 11 weeks of prep time. My middle child announced that he wants to invite Drake to eat Thanksgiving dinner with us. I had to explain to him that given that Drake isn’t even an American citizen, I doubt very seriously he’d want to join us for an American holiday. That got me thinking that if I was going to invite anyone to Thanksgiving dinner, it would be Reverend Moore from the original Footloose movie. Maybe he could scare my kids into being good for the month before Christmas. That got me thinking about you how you could make your thanksgiving dinner both awkward and entertaining (for you at least).
