I read yesterday that there will be a Friends reunion, after all these years. I guess that means I’m going to have to binge watch the original series since I saw maybe five or six episodes when it first came out. There’s been enough clamor for that, but given Hollywood’s penchant for sequels, I’m really afraid of what a sequel to Forrest Gump would look like. But that may be one of those movies that just can’t be remade. Taxi Driver is another one that comes to mind; it’s just too iconic to do anything else with it.
