As my Mom is getting older, she’s losing that internal filter that we are all supposed to have and now she says things that she probably wouldn’t have 20 years ago. The other day I told her she was turning into one of those ladies from Steel Magnolias and she told me that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. I suppose that’s better than being a character from a John Grisham movie, where everybody is always running around and being chased all the time. In the grand scheme of things I supposed that’s still a better outcome than being a character in Tombstone, where just about everybody dies by the time the credits roll. Personally, I like that my Mom can now get away with saying the things that I am actually thinking. Hopefully you’ll get to experience some of that tonight when your team picks up 40 points at the end of Round 4 (before the Do Or Die Dare) when you have a team mate aged 65 or older play on your team tonight.
