The only “reality” show I ever watch is The Voice, but just for the opening auditions; I couldn’t care less about the rest of the competition. I do remember trying to watch the first season of American Idol and just being annoyed by the whole show, judges and contestants included. I’m finding that I’m spending more time in my chair, watching TV than I really should be. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to walk the Appalachian Trail, but then I think of all of the states and miles from start to finish and I just fall back into my chair again. Then I think I could compromise and instead of walking in the woods I can build something with wood, like a bigger storage shed in the backyard. While I know how to work a hammer and a nail and I can certainly haul the lumber around the yard, I have no idea about what size lumber I would need or even how much. I’m not even going to pretend that I can correctly measure lumber to cut it right the first time either. That doesn’t mean I can’t try to do it though. I have every confidence that you can probably do it better though, so tonight bring in two small pieces of wood that have been attached together just like a carpenter did it and 15 points will be yours at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare).
