We were talking about Presidential controversies at the office yesterday and I remarked that it never ceased to amaze me how at the end of every term in office half of the country gets upset when the President issues his pardons. I’ve never understood all of the angst. Heck, I’ve been more upset at some of the winners of Best Picture at the Academy Awards; Lord knows there’s been a few injustices there over the years. I mean it’s been 35 years and I still think E.T. got robbed of a Best Picture award.
