Yesterday at work we had a discussion about political correctness that would have made the folks in HR faint from the reports they would have had to write. My contribution was to say that because of it, Blazing Saddles would never have a chance of getting made today. I may or may not agree with that, but I wanted to keep the conversation going. It’s one of those arguments that can go one forever, much like saying that Hall & Oates are the greatest musical duo to ever record, or that Tom Selleck has the greatest moustache in television history. Sometimes I start these “discussions” just to get out of working for a few minutes.
