It was nice to learn that the band Journey is being inducted into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame this year. Apparently though, they are going through the exercise of “which former band members will show up for the honor” that we’ve seen in the past. It’s kind of scary to think that they started recording music just as cell phone technology was being invented. Of course, neither has been around as long as Wrigley Field, home of the World Series Champions Chicago Cubs, but then again, there aren’t that many things that are anymore. There are plenty of groups and artists from yesteryear that deserve entry into the Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame.
