I was staring up at the full moon we had earlier this week and for some odd reason I started thinking about how majestic baseball homeruns used to be called “moon shots”. After a moment or two that got me wondering about if pitchers have any sympathy for their opposition when they hit a home run themselves and how I need to look up home run hitting pitchers. A few minutes later my youngest comes out of the house with an app on her showing where the International Space Station is so that you can look up and see it. It’s too bad you couldn’t see any of the Space Shuttles orbiting back when we used to send those things up on a regular basis. I could never be an astronaut. I had a hard enough time converting Fahrenheit to Celsius, but then they introduced the Kelvin scale and that was the end of me and science. Ever since that day in high school chemistry, if I needed to know about temperatures, I just looked a thermometer. You can too! Just bring a thermometer that shows both Fahrenheit and Celsius on its’ scale and 15 points will be yours at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare).
