I love my kids. But I figured out that the best way to get them to leave me alone for 20 minutes is to play one of early Pink Floyd albums. Around our house we have renamed it our “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy. I have also figured out that if I’m playing one of classical music’s Three B’s, they will wait until one of the lulls in the music before asking for money or permission to do something their mother wouldn’t let them. Since most of us have had to ask mom or dad for something, we’ve had to figure out the best way to ask for it. What was/is your “go to” moment or time to ask for money or permission?
