With hurricane season having started, it’s probably a good thing the folks on the west coast aren’t in danger of getting hit with a Pacific Ocean storm. I suspect that the only west coast shaking anyone would be interested in is if Ken Griffey, Jr. were to come out of retirement and hit another home run up in Seattle. It’s amazing what shakes the world and what doesn’t. An earthquake last for just a few minutes and everyone notices, yet a cell phone has been revolutionizing the way we communicate with each other for years now and we don’t even think twice about it anymore. Still, those hurricanes are no joke, especially the two I’ve been through. Because we try to find the joy in any situation (or in this case, the bottom of a glass), bring an empty hurricane glass with you tonight to pick up 30 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare).
