I read this week where a geyser in Yellowstone National Park is blowing after being dormant for a few years. I don’t think America will have another active volcano any time soon though. I prefer my larger than life objects be limited to the monuments that have been built in Washington D.C. as they are far less destructive. I think about the only good thing that could happen if the Yellowstone volcano came back to life would be that the hotel from The Shining is close enough that it might not survive the eruption.
