One of the dumber traditions in my fantasy baseball league is at the end of the season when the winner is showered in Yoo-Hoo by the other owners. I have steadfastly avoided getting dowsed with the sugary concoction by not winning the league championship. Ever. I keep having dreams that someday I’ll get to accept an award for the most consecutive second place finishes, just like Tony Stark did at that casino in Iron Man. With any luck, they’ll name this award after me, just like the multitude of awards from major sports named after people involved in those sports. I’m just glad that we don’t have any dumb traditions around the office for every time we hit a sales goal or some other milestone because I’ve worked at some places in the past that had some ridiculous things they did. Is there some dumb workplace rule or tradition that you have to follow? Tonight, feel free to embarrass your employer when you write it down for your host.
