I had to take a friend to the ER last night. The problem is that that if your ailment isn’t as serious as others, you aren’t seen on a “first in, first out” basis. Therefore, I got stuck watching some reality show on VH1 that I was yelled at for trying to change the channel. I know it wasn’t that bad, but there were moments I felt like one of the hostages in Iran, just looking for a way out of there. Eventually, the infirm reality TV watcher got called and I changed the channel, availing myself of the opportunity to get caught up in a Pirates of the Caribbean marathon.
