Now that America (outside of New England) is collectively yawning over the Patriots going back to the Super Bowl, maybe we’ll get excited about our upcoming athletic showdown with North Korea at the winter Olympic games next month. I usually only watch the opening ceremonies for the bright colors and to play fashion critic with the outfits. I don’t know if they are, but if the Jamaican team is back this year, I may watch them for the fun of it. One thing for sure is that there will be lots of stories about the DMZ between the North and South Korea, as if that were the only border between two countries in the world. Maybe I should be more enthusiastic about the upcoming Winter Games.
