The Everglades and all of its’ living organisms certainly took a beating from Irma this past weekend. As for my family, we hunkered down and actually played Monopoly for the first time in ages as we entered our second day without power at the house. We’ve seen so much water over this past week that everyone agreed that if we take a vacation outside the country, we are going to visit the Great Pyramids in Egypt just to see the massive sea of sand to the West.
