We saw a snake in our backyard this past summer, and even though it wasn’t poisonous, Mrs. Clue Writer still is not a fan going out there. I’ve told her that even the poisonous ones are underground, away from the cold these days. I even told her she had more to fear from Al Capone than venomous snakes, but I’m not sure she believed me. Since the only thing in our backyard right now is hibernating trees, I’d be more afraid of Groot moving around out there than snakes. Fear can be a matter of degrees.
