It’s awards season in Hollywood, but I have to confess, I prefer the Tony Awards, because the entertainment during the show is usually well done. I also like that they have previous winners come back to perform the signature songs from their shows. Watching that is about the opposite of watching C-SPAN, at the very least in terms of production values. To me, C-SPAN is still a few notches above watching any professional sports league draft. They drag those things out so long that I stopped watching the year after Kobe Bryant was drafted into the NBA. To me watching a draft is about as enjoyable as eating broccoli. Since my mom says I’m wrong about that, bring a recipe that uses broccoli as a ingredient, and I might change my mind. You, however, will definitely earn 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare) for your efforts.
