I only have one more day in the car on this road trip and the guy I’m riding with really makes me wish I didn’t have four out of my five senses. About the only thing he hasn’t irritated on me is my sense of taste. On our drive into Massachusetts, he started to unload his vast knowledge about the production of and the actors on the show The Simpsons. I understand, more than ever, why he’s still single. I wish there was a question about Dante’s Inferno in tonight’s game so I could make a reference to a circle of Hell, but there’s not. So instead, I’m trying to remember anything I ever learned in college about Greek philosophers, and whatever theories they had about our planet and universe. It’s the only way I can be sure I’m losing IQ points.
