You know it’s a good day at the office when you walk in the door and somebody has brought in three dozen hot and fresh Krispy Kreme donuts. So, while we were stuffing our faces with sugary goodness the conversation turned to the MLB Hall of Fame inductions last Sunday. One guy suggested that just because Miguel Cabrera hit for the Triple Crown in 2012 that guarantees his entry to the Hall when he retires. We broke up the conversation when one of our younger staff members showed up and reminded us that he just discovered this funny show on Netflix called Friends. He wanted to get philosophical about the career choices of all of the characters, their parents, and their assorted boyfriends and girlfriends and how he just can’t understand how they can afford to live in NYC. I’m more of a “live in the moment” kind of person, so I waste my time thinking about which currently playing MLB ball players have a chance at joining the HOF.
