As hot and muggy as it is at my house right now, I think I’d rather be in Scotland. I’ve even started googling things about Scotland just to try to make my self feel mentally cooler. It’s a lot like us with a national anthem, a national animal symbol, its’ own flag and its’ own motto. I suppose what really has me down right now is that there are no more holidays until September. If I get desperate enough, I’ll just make up a holiday to celebrate, like those guys on Parks & Recreation did. Until I come up with one I just keep crossing off days on the calendar, waiting for the NFL to start playing games again. And not preseason games either. There are so many news outlets covering preseason practice that I can’t even keep up with all of the teams anymore. Since I’m trying to stay cool and keep my focus on Scotland, print out and bring a recipe for haggis to pick 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare).
