One of thee things I’ve always wondered about hockey is when Lord Stanley first awarded his Cup to the champion in 1893 was it something he already had around the house or did it have it made for the occasion. This week it’s a good thing they play hockey indoors, considering all of the snow that has fallen in the northeast in the past few days. From what I understand it is that really heavy, wet snow too. I don’t know how much that type or snow (or water) water weighs, but I do know it is awful trying to shovel it by hand. I’d rather be stuck indoors with some Harry Potter books than risking a heart attack trying to move that stuff. But hockey will go on, since virtually every pro team plays indoors. To celebrate that, you’ll pick up 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare) when you bring a hockey puck with you tonight. If you don’t have one, wearing the gear of any professional team (NHL or minor league) will get you the points also.
