Since the game was played yesterday and I didn’t want to get up this morning to write it, I’m writing this on Sunday, with a drink in my hand; against company policy. I’m not a rebel, just someone who doesn’t want to try to write coherently while still recovering from the excesses of the day before. One of my co-workers suggested that if my diet consisted of complete, balanced, nutrition prior to the consumption of alcoholic beverages, that I wouldn’t have to be as concerned about the effects the next day. One nice thing about the polar vortex is that I have been able to keep my vodka outside without a cooler; heck, I haven’t even had to convert the Celsius to Fahrenheit (I’ve been tuned into Canadian radio this week) to figure out how cold it actually is. At least, unlike last time there was a Super Bowl in Georgia, nobody is sliding on ice to get to the game. You would have thought that with all of the people who’ve moved to Georgia from other states, somebody would know how to do it. But, since it was sunny and 60 degrees, nobody had to worry about it.
