Playing DJ Trivia tonight is the last Monday in 2018 — Swaby’s Tavern at  and Crossroads at 7:00 or Waneta Inn at 7:30! January starts a new Monday location – Bagels and Cakes.

We needed a break from the house, so Mrs. Clue Writer and I wandered down to the local movie emporium and saw that new movie about Neil Armstrong. Going to the movies helps me escape the blahs that can sometimes happen in winter. For example, I got a phone call from my cousin in Wisconsin. He was telling me that he just doesn’t want to be there anymore, but can’t decide if he should look for a job in a neighboring state or pick up and go farther away. I just wish they would open Six Flags amusement parks when it’s snowing; I can’t begin to imagine how great it would be to ride a roller coaster when it is snowing. But this year I am committed to enjoying some holiday cheer. In that spirit, we want to make that ugly (nee, charmingly tacky!) Christmas sweater a cost effective purchase for you!
