My cubicle buddy took a muscle relaxer for his bad back while at work yesterday. It made for some very amusing conversation as the day went on. He started by asking, “Did you ever notice that rivers are named after the places they end instead of the places they begin?” I replied, “You mean like the Mississippi River?’ He almost went catatonic in thought after he realized that river neither begins nor ends in the State of Mississippi. Then he spied a picture of Clint Eastwood on the internet and went on a hilarious diatribe about how Dirty Harry is an idiot because his gun is not the most powerful handgun in the world. We finally had to call his wife to come get him when wanted to play Rock, Paper, Scissors to “defend his honor” when he claimed he knew the correct number of clubs a player is allowed to carry in his/her bag (he didn’t).
