DJ Trivia continues in the Finger Lakes with games at 7:30 tonight – The Auburn Ale House, Beef & Brew, Vonnie’s Halfway Haus and The Keuka Restaurant!

I caught a news article yesterday talking about the former athletes who won elections two weeks ago. It’s funny to me how I never think about the winners but I still remember a few famous athletes who ran for office and lost on their foray into politics. Since we have the family coming into town today for the holiday, there won’t be much time for news as the TV is going to be fed a steady diet of football and The Big Bang Theory reruns, whether I like it or not. Since the kids are all of an age now that they understand the humor, it is about the only show all 12 of us can agree on/tolerate. If I can, I may just sneak out to the back porch with my old paperback copy of The World According To Garp and think of Robin Williams’ voice from his role in the movie while I read the dialogue they had to edit out. When we have family in town it can be stressful. So, what is you place of escape when the stress gets to be to much for you?
