They are ubiquitous but it gets more challenging everyday to find anybody who just uses their portable communication device as a cell phone anymore. Most kids would rather text than actually have to have a conversation on a cell phone. Maybe we could start a program to take them to Greenland for a week and see how they handle not having any cell service. Greenland is not the first choice of island I would make to visit. While I would prefer some place delightfully warm and sunny, my budget won’t even let me afford the island of Great Britain. I can possibly afford one of the impossibly rural, cold, windy, and desolate islands that surround it, so I’m just going to stay home instead. The one good thing about those little islands is that they probably don’t get cell phone service either. So let’s harken back to a simpler time, when cell phones were actually phones. Tonight your team will pick up 30 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare) when you bring that old, non working anymore because it’s just a phone and not a mini computer cell phone and you get some points and have fun flipping open and closed all night because that is all it will do anymore.
