I read this past week where they are in talks to reboot The West Wing back on to television again. I was a big fan of the old show, so I can only hope that the new version is as award worthy as the old version. It’s amazing how our tastes change over time. I remember as a kid when I thought that Wonder Woman was the greatest thing that was ever aired on television. Now, not so much. My kids don’t really watch TV shows anymore. They’ll go to the movies, but they won’t make the effort to see a stand alone picture. To them, “Great trilogies come in threes”, so they’ll only go see “franchise” movies. Since rebooting older TV shows is becoming popular, that brings up the question “Which TV show did you like just the way it was and hope the networks just leave it alone, the way it was?” You can earn 30 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare) when you doodle (make a picture) of the cast from that perfect show that should never be reproduced and give it to your host.
