Our office intern is taking an economics class and is having trouble with the relationship between inflation and interest rates. Normally, I would try to help, but I’m not sure I understand it myself. I think I’d have a better chance at explaining how plants feed themselves that anything that happens at the Federal Reserve. Personally, I don’t think there is a math or science to anything the Fed does. I don’t believe that what they do is any more complicated than any one of Professor Snape’s spells. In fact, I think that whole place is a lot like the company in the movie Office Space. Because that is such a great movie, tonight you’ll pick up 30 points at the end of Round 3 (before the Double Down Dare) when you bring a copy of the dumbest memo someone in your company has ever sent you.
