My neighbor had a yard sale this past weekend so I wandered down the street and got a great deal on some vintage Van Halen LPs and t-shirts. I’m talking about with the original lineup and none of those other pretenders. Some things get better when the lineup changes though. I know I’m probably in the minority on this but I do think that some of the later actors in the James Bond series have been better at it than Sean Connery. The counter to that is that some of the best do the same thing, in the same place. Cal Ripken, Jr. and Lou Gehrig did the same thing, in the same uniform, in the same city for years and they are revered for their accomplishments. It is a subjective argument after all so for your bonus points tonight, think of your favorite band that has has a lineup change in their history.
