DJ Trivia Bonus in the Finger Lakes for Wednesday, November 22, 2017

Tonight is one of the best nights to go out and have fun with more friends and family in town. Include DJ Trivia with your fun at Ovid Vfw, 6:30 or at Wayside Irish Pub in Elbridge at 7:0o(note time change) or Plantation Bar and Grill in Ithaca at 8:00.  NO DJ Trivia at Ciccino’s tonight, but will resume next week!

Around the dinner table last night we had a profoundly philosophical discussion about whether or not hummus is acceptable to serve at any point during Thanksgiving. The girls said that it has nothing to do with the holiday. I argued that it was a healthy sidekick to go with all the time I’ll be spending drinking beer and watching football. When we exhausted that discussion, my youngest informed me that she got in trouble at school because when her teacher assigned her to do a report on turkeys, she wrote three pages about the country and its’ people instead of the animal to ease her vegetarian soul instead. In all honesty, I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or be mad at her for that one. But she did knowingly choose not to follow the instructions, so there has to be a punishment for that.
