Folks around the office were talking about having a watching party for the Mayweather-McGregor fight next week. I told everyone to count me out because Muhammad Ali isn’t fighting, there is no good reason for me to pay money to see it. That’s why I don’t go see many baseball games anymore; after watching Greg Maddux pitch for so many years, it’s hard for me to get excited about seeing anyone else. Since then, my fellow co-workers accuse me of not paying attention to anything, like the local crime blotter, unless someone on the FBI Ten Most Wanted list is arrested.
