Sitting here in the Mike Hammer booth this morning, listening to the wait staff talk about a co-worker who called in sick yesterday. One said to the other how she never calls in sick because her soap opera isn’t on anymore so there was no reason to stay home. Besides she said, she had the perfect concoction to cure a cold. It involved a beer and bunch of other stuff that made me lose interest in what was on my plate. But they both agreed that the most boring thing they could think of to read to put themselves to sleep were poems. Surely, the enlightened players of DJ Trivia understand the imagery and emotion that can be conjured up from a well written verse.
