Stay dry from all this rain and have fun playing DJ Trivia with friends at Tavern Restaurant at 7:00, F n a Rhythm and Booze at 7:30 and Carey Lake or Vonnie’s Boathouse at 8:00!

I think I have discovered a new way to torture my kids this upcoming school year. Every time they whine about not wanting to do their homework, I’m going to introduce them the wonderful decade that was the 90s! While they tell me what an awful dad I am, the sounds of Gangster’s Paradise (or maybe the Weird Al version, Amish Paradise) will blare out of our home entertainment system. And if they complain that I am taking up all of their free time on the TV, I will simply turn to another episode of Fresh Prince of Bel-Air so that we can sit together on the couch and enjoy some quality family time with wholesome comedy hi-jinks. They won’t complain because they know that if they do, I will break out my old mix tapes of 80s power ballads and start singing every last word to them until their mom runs out of Aqua Net.
