With wedding season upon us, I bought a piece of Delft pottery for the very first time, because that’s what the happy couple registered for. Thinking about these two getting married reminds me how much life has changed. I mean, can you imagine trying to pitch the plot to Bosom Buddies as a TV show these days? You’d get laughed out of the room. Realistically, we’d have a better chance of getting Fight Club adapted to television than a show about two men trying to live in a women’s only apartment building. Regardless, the pottery is what the happy couple wanted and it’s what I got them. It is though, the lamest thing I think I’ve ever given as a wedding gift. Tonight I need you to make me feel better and write down for your host the lamest thing you have ever given as a wedding gift and you host will laugh at you while giving your team 15 points at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare).
