While the Oscars were last night, I didn’t bother to watch. I’ve been boycotting them ever since Keanu Reeves didn’t get an Oscar for his work in The Matrix. That was almost as bad as Raiders Of The Lost Ark not winning best picture because of some British movie everybody has forgotten about (except me apparently). Instead, I spent last night going through my Beatles album collection and re-listening to some stuff I had forgotten about. While I will concede that maybe Keanu wasn’t as worthy of an Oscar as I think hew was, there are plenty of other actors who were robbed of Oscar glory by less deserving winners.
