It’s just a few short weeks now before pitchers and catchers report for spring training. I think more hitters should report early; maybe it will help them cut down on all of the strikeouts. I mean really, some of these guys look like the Bad News Bears out there, trying to swing a bat. I may be old school, but some of those hitters look like they spend more time preening in front of a mirror, trimming their facial hair than in a batting cage trying to figure out a curve ball. Maybe the New York Yankees (and a few other sports) have it right and facial hair should be banned. It may not be the best idea for improving baseball, but it can’t hurt it either. Come up with one rule change you would make to professional baseball and 15 points will be yours at the end of Round 2 (before the Double Down Dare).
